 Spectra Advisors, a leading boutique advisory firm in the post secondary market, announced that its client, Alta College, has completed a divestiture of their Redstone - Los Angeles campus to Crimson Aero Corporation. Effective immediately, the name of the school will be changed to Crimson Technical College. This transaction represents the first acquisition for Crimson Aero Corporation. CEO and owner Brent Mills commented, "We are elated to have acquired an outstanding Aviation & Maintenance College in the LA marketplace. Crimson Aero intends to acquire several other post-secondary schools in California, both in the A&P sector as well as other industries."
Redstone offered degree granting programs in both Airframe and Powerplant and Construction Management. Spectra acted as exclusive advisors to Alta Colleges. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Alta Colleges continues to own and operate Redstone College In Denver, Colorado.
