Just as the decision to sell, buy or finance a company is one of the most challenging an owner will make, the decision about who to employ to add value to an organization can catapult a company to the "next level." Spectra Advisors has the experience, resources and knowledge to assist you with these complex issues.

At Spectra, our focus is to provide to post-secondary institutions and career colleges with not only advisement in the areas of sales, divestitures, acquisitions, and capital sourcing activities, but also high level recruitment service that maximize access to the best know-how available in the industry..

To serve the needs of clients, the Spectra team draws upon more than 35 years of collective experience both as operators OF and advisors IN the education sector. During our careers the partners of Spectra have completed over 20 transactions with an aggregate transaction value of more than $125 million. We have also been personally responsible for dozens of successful recruitments.

Drawing upon the knowledge and experience of a proven track record, Spectra's team is able to understand the needs particular to a client's company. With such needs in mind and while applying a "start-to-finish" approach, we work with the client not only to develop a realistic plan that will meet the client's objectives, but also to manage the process of finding an investor or qualified buyer for that business. In the final analysis, our comprehensive approach helps a client receive either the best possible financing terms or the maximum value for their company.

CORE PRINCIPLES & APPROACH

As Spectra Advisors builds a distinguished organization, we seek to exemplify excellence in every facet of our business. The pillars of our corporate culture are built around the highest standards of discretion and both personal and professional integrity and accountability.

Our approach to a transaction is built around the personal involvement of both Spectra partners in every aspect of the process from start to close. Our expertise in the education industry enables us to interface actively and on a regular basis with a large universe of potential acquirers and investors. This concentration allows us to understand very well how the market will respond to a particular asset. If shareholders' liquidity expectations are incongruent with what the market will bear we will advise them about ways to create additional value and achieve their financial goals in the future. Believing that honesty and communication throughout the advisory process is paramount, we will not take on an assignment unless we have a high degree of confidence that the market will respond favorably to the valuation of an asset.

We take a success based approach to assignments and do not require exorbitant retainers to secure our services. We are confident that we will perform in such a way as to earn our compensation.
